Statement of Faith

We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God without error. (2 Timothy 3:26)

We believe in the Godhead; God the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. (Colossians 2:9; 1 John 5:7; Matthew 28:19; John 14:26)

We believe in Jesus’ preeminence as the Word, who was with God in the beginning. (Genesis 1:26; John 1:1-2, 14; 1 John 1:1-2; Philippians 2:6-7; Colossians 1:18)

We believe that Jesus Christ was born of the Virgin Mary, conceived by the Holy Spirit of God. (Matthew 1:18-25; Luke 1:26-39)

We believe that Jesus took part of human nature, as a man, yet without sin. (Philippians 2:7-8; Romans 8:3; Hebrews 2:14-17)

We believe that Jesus lived, was crucified, died, buried, rose from the dead on the third day and ascended to Heaven, and now sits at the right hand of God making intercessions daily. (Matthew 1:18-25; Luke 23:32-53; Luke 24; Matthew 24:29-31; Matthew 25:31-46; Hebrews 1:3; Mark 16:19; Luke 22:69; Acts 1:9; Hebrews 12:2; Acts 2:29-36)

We believe that His return is imminent to judge the living and the dead. (Matthew 24:29-31; Matthew 25:31-46; 2 Timothy 4:1; Acts 10:42; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18)

We believe that man was created in the image of God. (Genesis 1:26-27)

We believe that Satan, a fallen angel, is the adversary of God and man. (Isaiah 14:10-15; Ezekiel 28:14-17; Job 2:1-7; Zechariah 3:1-2; 1 Thessalonians 2:18; Revelation 2:10; Jude 1:9)

We believe that man’s fall in the Garden of Eden brought about sin and death to all humankind. (Genesis 1:26-27, 2:7, 3:1-19; Romans 5:12-14; 1 Corinthians 15:21-22)

We believe in repentance from sin, subsequent atonement by the blood of Jesus Christ for the propitiation of the sins of the world. (Matthews 4:17; John 19:34; Romans 3:24-25, 5:6-10; 2 Corinthians 5:14-15, 17-19; Hebrews 9:14-22, 28; 1 Peter 1:18-21; 1 John 2:2)

We believe salvation is given by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. (Ephesians 2:8; John 1:11-13, 3:1-17; 1 Peter 1:18-23; Titus 3:4-7)

We believe in baptism by water and of the Holy Spirit. (John 3:1-17; Matthew 28:19)

We believe in the indwelling of the Holy Spirit and His administration of the gifts of the Spirit. We believe in living Holy through the guidance of the Holy Spirit. (John 14:17; 1 Corinthians 2:4-5, 3:16, 19, 12:4-14; Romans 8:9, 11; Ephesians 4:8; 2 Timothy 1:6-7)
