Pastor

Reginald Moore

Bridging Faith, Community, and Service

Pastor Reginald Moore, a servant of hope and spiritual growth in the vast city of San Antonio, has dedicated his life to strengthening faithful believers in the Spirit, the natural, and the Body of Christ. Born in 1959, his journey toward becoming a disciple and leader of God was shaped by an innate sense of compassion and steadfast faith in the transforming power of love and kindness.

As a child, Pastor Reginald Moore attended Miles Memorial CME in Marshall, Texas, and his path to the ministry was not straightforward at first. At age 12, during a summer visit with his Aunt and Uncle in Dallas, Texas, a transformative encounter with God happened at the altar at Souls Harbor Church, altering the course of his life. It was there when the Lord God saved him. In 1987, many years later, at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church in Atlanta, Georgia, Pastor Moore joined the Men’s Ministry and participated in their first fellowship program. There, he discovered his passion for connecting with people and serving in ministry. Upon moving to California, he continued serving as a Young Adult Sunday School Teacher at St. Stephens Baptist Church in West Covina. In 2000, Pastor Moore joined Faithful Central Bible Church (FCBC) in Inglewood, California. During that time, The King’s College and Seminary, founded by Dr. Jack Hayford, the founding pastor of The Church on The Way, offered a satellite seminary program at the FCBC campus. Pastor Moore’s hunger and thirst for more knowledge and understanding of the Word of God led him to pursue a degree in Theology through that program, which included studies in hermeneutics and exegesis of scripture.

It was December 2006 when Pastor Reginald Moore received his call from God to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. He joined Gospel of Truth, Church of the Living God International, in 2007, and shortly after, he was appointed Assistant Jurisdictional Coordinator. God used him to strengthen and build up the brethren by preaching the word of God to the thirteen Southwest Jurisdictional churches throughout Texas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico. God continued to elevate his servant by appointing him as Associate Pastor, Executive Church Board member (2017), Co-Pastor (2018), and Pastor (2023).

Pastor Reginald Moore has been teaching and preaching the word of God since 2007 with the power and anointing of the Holy Spirit. His sermons, rich with personal anecdotes and practical wisdom, resonated deeply with his congregation. He emphasizes God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit (God’s power), and the importance of knowing that everyone in the Body of Christ is wanted, needed, valued, and most of all loved. This conviction creates an environment for devout believers and those seeking solace and guidance, regardless of their faith background.

Beyond the pulpit, Pastor Moore’s commitment to serving extends to supporting various community outreach programs, from helping with the SA Food Bank for those in need to providing support for Child Advocates San Antonio and interacting with the Leon Valley City Council. He believes in working to uplift the marginalized and reach those deemed unreachable. Through his inspiring recordings and blog, he is touching a broad audience, offering words of wisdom, comfort, and guidance to individuals navigating life’s challenges.

Yet, amidst his devotion to his ministry and community, Pastor Moore remains deeply rooted in his personal life. A loving spouse and a doting parent to three adult children. He and his wife Veronica have been residents of San Antonio, Texas, since 2003 and have been happily married for some 37+ years. He gracefully balances his roles, weaving family values into his teachings and demonstrating the importance of nurturing personal and communal connections by showing the love of God as God has shown him.

Over the years, Pastor Moore’s unwavering commitment to faith, boundless compassion, and tireless dedication to serving others have left an indelible mark on the hearts and souls at The Heritage Fellowship Church of San Antonio and beyond. His life is a testament to the transformative power of faith, love, and the enduring impact of one individual’s unwavering dedication to ministering glad tidings of great joy. In the walls of The Heritage Fellowship Church of San Antonio, Pastor Moore continues to inspire, uplift, and lead by example, embodying the very essence of a shepherd guiding his flock towards love, understanding, and a shared sense of purpose. Pastor Moore desires to strengthen the Body of Christ until Jesus returns for His church.
